Hi all,
Thank you so much for the generous gift and card from Masquerade for
my work on the website. It was a lovely surprise and I know
I'll have fun spending it!
I really enjoyed creating and managing the website over the past
three years - it was great fun and has captured a lot of happy
memories for all of us. I'm sure that Stephen will do a great job
with it so I'm happy it's passed into good hands.
Have a great summer and all the best.Yvonne |

Our
production of J B Keane's 'The Chastitute' was a resounding success.
I want to thank our cast for their excellent performance, our
patrons for their positive reaction and Bridgewater administration
for a very successful venue. The long months of rehearsals were well
worth it. I have to say that the craic during rehearsals was
fantastic. Long may it continue. We are now looking forward to our
November production.

In relation to the photos of a Christmas
Party on the website, I think they should be taken down for the
following reason: In this depressing economic climate it is very
upsetting for "Joe Soap" to find such signs of happiness and good
cheer on any website. These photos ooze warmth, conviviality and a
sense of camaraderie that is not in keeping with recessionary times.
They are quite obviously "posed" by
"actors", I mean just look at the Chairman!
Who could be that happy and full of
the joys when all the world is poor ????
Well done
to Masquerade actors for such scenes of enjoyment and long may you
continue to pretend that we can be happy despite the recession.

Hey all,
Well, as you may or may not have noticed I didn't return to Arklow
after my trip...! I've moved to Limerick and all is great but I
haven't joined another drama group yet- it's going to be hard to
find as great a crew of people as you guys. Great drama, good laughs
making it and the apres rehearsal and apres play analysis will be
hard to beat!! Just wanted to say best of luck with the one acts,
enjoy and hope you get good crowds. Hopefully I'll make it up for
the next play and have an ol' catch up;) Take care xd
