Welcome to our
website
Masquerade is an award winning amateur drama group founded over
ten years ago and based in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. Our
members
are from all walks of life and ages but share a common interest
which is a love of the stage.
The Masquerade season runs from September to March, with
meetings, rehearsals and performances held in Arklow. We usually
present a number of one-act plays in November and a full length
play in February/March in addition to regular involvement in
drama festivals. We also arrange a number of
social events throughout the year.
We welcome new members, so if you are interested in any aspect of drama,
whether it's directing, producing, acting, backstage, front of house,
make-up, lighting, sound, set design or just a general interest, please
let us know via the

Message from the
'New' Chairman
We are pleased to announce
that we have selected our Autumn production - 'A Life' by Hugh
Leonard. Auditions
for parts were held in Murphy's Pub & Restaurant, Main
Street, Arklow on Thursday 12th and Tuesday 17th August.
Rehearsals for our other production 'The Happy
Journey to Trenton and Camden' (one-act play) are going strong.
